#36 Most Dangerous Situation You've Ever Been In? in Off Topic

When I was 6 and playing by a road in the country a car narrowly missed me (less than 2 feet) and was going at least 50mph.

When I was 17(almost 18) I had an abscessed tooth so bad that I got a bloodstream infection (do to my parents being poor and my dentist delaying my appointment TWICE), it got so bad I had to spend 2 days in the hospital and was bed ridden for 2 weeks do to a bad reaction to my antibiotics. I went from weight about 155lbs to 125lbs in 3 weeks cause I could barely drink water, and all the food I tried to eat I would instantly vomit.

Bigabump - still crashing

Are you using my cfg?

If so you may want to make sure cl_threaded_bone_setup = 0
(I believe iMacs in 2008 were dual core)

#4 Question about csgo in Off Topic

https://i.imgur.com/X2WQAj7.png

keep in mind get_right and CS 1.6 has also been around longer than hour tracking on steam he likely has a couple thousand more hours in that. Plus I'm not sure if steam counts hours while "offline"

#8 User-driven scoring site could use some feedback in TF2 General Discussion
BrovietComangliaHow in the fuck does the AWP have the highest skill cap in CS:GO... CSS has a much more appropriate skill cap spread.

Also surprisingly the skill cap by class for TF2 is pretty close to what I would expect.
Heavy/Engineer/Pyro being the easiest
and
Demo/Medic being some of the hardest. Honestly sniper should at the very least be behind demo.

Haha yeah, good question. Right now I think it's a function of not having many votes in the system yet, as we did a full wipe a couple days before launching. Either that, or the people who have voted thus far may play at a higher level than most, where the AWP isn't looked down upon as much, and is seen as a game-changer with a much higher skill cap. Interested to see how it plays out. And the same with TF2 I think. It's just a matter of small sample size at the moment. Eventually, if people share that opinion, it'll be reflected in the scaling.

Yeah but high impact doesn't mean high skill cap, Scar-20 is high impact but it's pretty damn easy to use. M249 technically speaking has a ridiculous spread making it a very difficult weapon to use then again their's no reason to perfect that kind of spread and it's pretty damn easy to just spray and pray.

AK47 and Deagle definitely deserve those top spots though, I'm just nitpicking lol.

#35 Logitech no longer replacing g400s in Hardware
moofBetween the G303, G402 and G 502 which one would you guys choose? I've been hearing that the G502 is p good but i'm not so sure so I wanted to ask here

upon looking at the specs I'd pick the g303 or the g402

g303 has basically all the same features of the g502 but with a different shape (they have the exact same sensor, but it's lighter)

the g402 is humanly impossible to reach the max tracking speed (I've tried closest I've reached was about 6.8m/s), also might have the shape you're more used too.

brownymasterComanglia-snip-.The fact that you have to do that makes it semi-shit quality. The problems been around since the mx518 but logitech never bothered to fix it.

It wasn't something to necessarily "fix" it was a design choice to have an ultralight cable (which has it's own set of pros/cons), that they believed a lot of users would prefer. I happen to be one.

tbh though all mice have 1 really stupid flaw or at least used too.

HuggesI've been through FOUR g400's in the past year. All the of them developed the same chord/tracking issue. I can happily say I've safely switched over and ordered myself a Zowie.

You didn't do any of the advice on taping the cord down or getting a cord bungee did you?

Cause I used a g400 for about 2 years while playing competitively and for the past 7 months have been using it almost daily at my work (I have an office job so it see nearly 40hrs a week of use now). No issues. I have been using a g400s for almost a year now for competitive. No issues.

Everything else you said is perfectly reasonable. I own a couple zowie mice myself some of which have my own nitpick issues sensor get dirty really easy, older/maybe new ones too zowie mice have horrible input latency on LMB and RMB, 1000Hz is really jittery (fixed with newer ones if I recall), and the weird DPI steps.

omnificI don't like subway, I can't eat cold sandwiches (preference).

You can get sandwiches toasted at subway, and they also have an italian meatball sub that's already hot as well.

HuggesAfter coming from my g400, I can honestly say it feels nothing alike, and instead makes my fingers hurt after 1 week of use. The dpi button they put on the side is precisely where I am used to putting my thumb finger, and I don't like the fact that it makes you hold it a certain way. The left and right click is also too ridiculously easy to press, and I found myself pressing it accidentally every 5 seconds from the way I hold the mouse, but I got used to this in a little. All in all, a terrible mouse with too many unnecessary buttons/features. Logitech is totally going to crap. I returned the thing

"The left and right click is also too ridiculously easy to press"
I do this all the time with the RMB on both g400 and g400s I wouldn't single out the g402 for this

"The dpi button they put on the side is precisely where I am used to putting my thumb finger"
If the issue was changing the DPI you could've easily disabled the function all together. Now if having a button their period annoyed you that is a valid, but subjective complaint.

"Logitech is totally going to crap."
If you mean the design, maybe.
But the internal hardware of their gaming mice are phenomenal the vast majority of the time.

I have a steelseries sensei raw, it has no mouse accel (I'm pretty sure) and I have a lot of friends who moved to CS who use it. It's really good, I think it deserves an add to the list

http://www.overclock.net/t/1299014/steelseries-sensei-raw#post_18025761 (I respect this guy's word on mice and sensors in general more than anyone else on this and that forum)

Also it's a laser mouse it HAS mouse accel no matter what.

#14 might FPS problems in Q/A Help

Actually their's one more thing.

Did you install 2 different GPUs
ex1. you had 1 used it for a week waiting for the new one to come in
ex2. you had a new gpu that was partially defective and RMA'd it and got a different model
ex3. you installed a really old series of drivers and then installed the newest one

if you did any of those it's possible driver conflicts could be happening. (had the issue with bf4 myself when I upgraded to a new gpu)

and just to be 100% sure, you're using the dedicated GPU display ports (dvi/vga/hdmi/dp) and not the CPU based ones.
