Nice.
MoermanBeen watching f1 for only few months now.
Just a quick question to some veterans here.
Why does the organisation completely reset the lead and time behind that racers have when the safety car gets involved?
Why dont they let them restart at begin and finish the laps, taking into account the time between each driver right before the crash or whatever?
Its so weird to see someone's lead being completely gone after a random event somewhere across the track
You want the field to bunch up together on 1 part of the track so there is a period of time no cars will be on the section of track where the problem is, so the marshals can go clean things up safely
Also it's more fun
The best thing is that the entire pitstop debacle came along because Aitken crashed Russell's own car, which caused a safety car.
Nerdrage beating froyo in the i55 upper bracket, probably the best game zebbosai ever played

Watch Exotic Lair on youtube. ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJIW-bpoAsZY5vnsEShgTSw )
Videos like his make tarantulas (and many other animals) fascinating or even cute rather than scary.
Menachembattle ai is still dumb as rocks
troop command system is exactly the same
trading ui is pointlessly cluttered (actually most of the ui is really poor imo)
the tutorial missions were insanely easy, but then the 2 i got post tutorial involved pitting the 6 peasant recruits i was able to recruit against 20+ enemies, so theres a stupid amount of just chasing around little baby parties. and frequently, even the villages with units available to recruit wont let you do so because they dont like you, despite not knowing you.
and worst of all, the stupid thing has to load before doing ANYTHING. arena? gotta load in. battles? you best believe thats a big loading screen. wanna trade? load. wanna just talk to a fuckin guy? thats a loadin. wanna talk to another guy in the same village without needing to go on a scavenger hunt? fuck you idiot, load back into the campaign map, and then load into the village again. or, if you get lucky one of the villagers might know where the guy is, and you can very slowly walk behind the villager, assuming he doesnt get lost along the way.
i have 2 hours of playtime, and encountered more than my fair share of bugs, too. holy FUCK. stock warband is better, and modded, it's lightyears beyond this bullshit. only refund request ive ever made, and it was a no brainer.
You can press alt to see the position of named characters (like notables) ;)

Things aged well.
b4nny has also made it abundantly clear in the past that all he cares about in order to have fun is whether he wins or not, something his team would probably keep doing regardless of how retarded the rules and class limits are.
And all the other people at other levels who don't enjoy a zero restrictions meme format can go fuck themselves.
Let's put it to the test though: https://www.strawpoll.me/18841258
So... the end is basically that nothing changed?
The kings are all still there, the iron throne 'super-king' is still there, only now he is elected every time (which is a good long-term solution obviously, this has never gone wrong ever), the elite still rules their lands and inherits father to son.
All the same functions from season one are basically still there, except the people are different.
And what about other places? Mereen and the other cities probably still have slavery because nobody will enforce the abolition, the Dothraki sea will be the happy 'rape and pillage everything' game again, north of the Wall is still icey and the wall itself and even the night's watch are still there even though the wildlings helped them out and supposedly aren't enemies anymore.
Oh well, I guess everything that ever happened was completely pointless after all.
SpaceCadetLets be fair and objective here. Yes, hitting a dragon flying with 3 consecutive bolts is total bullshit and that death/scene was garbage but it was 2 very different situations.
Rheagal was flying into an "ambush" so he did not see the enemy, he was low to the ground, He was flying at a slow speed and lastly in a straight line. That made him pretty much the easiest target to try and hit. Still stupid to hit 3 bolts, but those are the facts.
On the other hand, Drogon was dropping from the sky like a Dive Bomber. In areal combat, "speed is life". Drogon was going insanely fast and he had his back to the sun which made him an even harder target to aim at or hit. Plus, he was going evasive and constantly moving around unlike the attack on Rheagal.
I agree that the situation was different, but why not show Euron baffled that he actually managed to hit the one in a million shot last episode, rather than hitting this extremely difficult shot 3 times, and then playing it off as being 'according to plan', before Drogon dive bombs at the ships (the same thing he did this week) before pulling away because 11 ships with ballistae are too dangerous to fly at. They set a precedent that ballistae are extremely dangerous to dragons in that episode, to then make them completely harmless the next. The 11 ships Euron had in the ambush last week also shot more bolts at the dragons than the entire fleet at king's landing (50 ships or so? Presumably equipped with ballistae) AND ballistae on every tower on the wall around king's landing. Note that all these ships and tower ballistae were on full alert and ready for Drogon to show up.
They also didn't show Dany and her crew take any account of this threat while planning the siege. A threat which was clearly significant since one of the dragons was just shot down. Their brilliant plan is to just dive bomb the dragon right at the enemy, something that was too dangerous to execute last week, and this time lo and behold, everyone missed.
This lack of consistency even within the same season is quite annoying. You either make it clear that ballistae are only effective against dragons when you hit the lucky shot and as such not that dangerous most situations, or you make them look like a real danger in both episodes. Now it just reeks of plot armour in one episode only.
The convenient storm trooper ballista aim strikes again: last episode Euron could 360 noscope a dragon 3 times in a row, now all the ballistae in King's Landing AND on the Iron Fleet can't hit shit, let alone shoot. I swear only at the start did the ballistae ever shoot (and miss) about 5-6 times.
I can forgive some inconsistencies, but they can't even be consistent in how effective anti-air ballistae are against dragons across 2 CONSECUTIVE episodes...
Also Varys' death was perhaps an even bigger joke than Littlefinger's last season. From ultra intrigue master of whisperers, manipulating everyone and knowing everything, to straight up TELLING the chief advisor of the queen that he'll kill her, AND not having a plan at all if things go wrong in any way. 10/10 spider.
Same with Tyrion: what is his way out the next episode when Dany finds out he betrayed her AGAIN?
Also Jaime and Cersei's deaths were kinda meh, so much for the prophecy about a brother killing Cersei, now a falling rock has killed both of them. 10/10 character arc closed out very nicely.
I like the convenient storm trooper aim of the ballista ships when the writers realised the last dragon's time hadn't come quite yet.
It's also funny how the most valuable hostage Cersei can take is Missandei, a translator who has been completely useless ever since they arrived in Westeros where there is nothing to translate.
