There is a new kid on the block in the free-to-play first-person shooters; but do not let their youth deceive you in terms of production value. U4ia Games, founded by Dusty Welch, just released a game changing browser-based first-person multiplayer online shooter named Offensive Combat. This browser-based game has currently been released into a closed beta testing phase and promises to extend open beta to more regions closer toward the fall months.
Offensive Combat is like many other shooters on the market today including titles like Halo and the Call of Duty series, but with a twist. The developers at U4ia Games make Offensive Combat feel much more relaxed and fun through different exclusive gameplay mechanics and features. Being a free-to-play game there is naturally still an option to put money into the game, but it is not necessary. As the game is very highly customizable ranging from character outfitting and weapons, all the way to fun taunting abilities known as “PWNs”. All of these features can be rented or purchased with either real money or in-game money, which is accumulated quickly through normal gameplay.
