for the past few weeks i have had some pretty high ping to servers i should get around 40-50 ping too. Dallas servers i get 100-110 and Chicago is around 100. does anyone know how to fix this. i have pretty bad internet but i never had this problem before.

I don't know but I've never had a reasonable connection to a Dallas server. I get worse network connection to those then I do to European servers, and I live way out west.

On a more troubleshooty note, what I'd do is run a speed test + compare your results to the plan you pay for. ISPs certainly aren't above ripping you off, I've had my speeds cut for no reason on multiple occasions. High pings often come from your upload speed being devoured.

Other thing to check is if any programs are consuming bandwidth, or if anybody else is on your network consistently (netflix is the worst...). Or if you live in residence at a college, then you might be SOL.

its probably your isp

try a speed test and see how you ping etc

try some of this action

run cmd as admin

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
winsock reset catalog
