Fingerprint scanner on the front or on back.

I've been having trouble outweighing the pros and cons of having a fingerprint scanner on the back or front of a phone. I was curious to see what tftv thought about it

iirc tftv is pretty android-biased so you're probably gonna hear back is best

front is where i naturally put my thumb when i pull my phone out of my pocket, and it also lets me unlock my phone when it's lying on my desk. its a really seamless experience and probably the best feature of my phone
touching the sensor on the back of my friend's pixel isn't really natural in any situation and theres no way to use it without picking up the phone

the pixel probably had to put it there to avoid getting sued for copying the iphone's design, but i dont understand why every other android phone puts it there
