Trying to get custom damage numbers

So I've been trying to get bigger damage numbers, but it doesn't seem to work even though I'm pretty sure I have it set up correctly

I don't have anything else in my custom folder either, so I don't think that's the issue.

Can anyone tell me how to make this work?

You forgot to add an info file.
Every hud related modification needs to have an info file with it.

In the "damage numbers" folder add a text file and put this inside of it:

"damage numbers"
{
"ui_version" "2"
}

Name it "info.vdf", it needs to be a vdf file.
