Is it possible to remove/replace the name of a strange weapon that has strange parts on it, without removing the strange parts?
I think if you use a nametag on the item it will overwrite the one you had before. Not 100% sure on this thought.

You should be able to. It asks you separately whether you want to remove any paint or custom names from your hats, so I'm guessing its the same for weapons.
If you just want to rename it, using another name tag on it should work.

I believe it gives you a list of available options when you click restore on an item.

BenroadsI think if you use a nametag on the item it will overwrite the one you had before. Not 100% sure on this thought.

I was thinking something along these lines but I couldn't remember it off the top of my head. I think I had to do this for a scattergun I got that had some stupid ass parts on it like revenge kills and full moon kills.
