I've got a SteelSeries Rival (the old original rival, before they started coming up with numbers like 300 or 700) and my mouse2 stopped working today. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, I tried using every USB port that I have, I tried restarting my computer, I reinstalled the steelseries engine, I checked if m2 somehow unbound (it's not). No idea what to do. I've had the mouse for about a year and I'm usually quite gentle with hardware in general so I don't think that I've physically broken it somehow. Clicking m2 still produces the regular click sound, nothing sounds broken or eroded. My touchpad's mouse2 still works just fine.

Wat do?

material defect, RMA it

might as well try if it works on a different PC but sounds unlikely

At the time, stores in my country didn't sell gaming mice (welcome to central europe) so I got it online from some seller in korea, no warranty or anything like that. FeelsBadMan
