Medic Looking For Low Team

First off, I have no experience in competitive other than the fact that I've watched a few matches on Youtube. However, I've been playing this for quite some time with now over 700 hours of playtime on TF2. I main Medic, I'd say I'm pretty good, but I don't have much to compare with. My computer is pretty bad too, it runs 15-20 FPS on average, but I can handle myself. Time wise, I can spend 1-2 hours a day playing, it could be more with a team, of course.

You can add me at "Storm Of The North" on Steam or by this link http://steamcommunity.com/id/StormOfTheNorth

Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

I don't have the links right now, but you should go try newbie mixes and maybe take part in their newbie team drive that should be coming up soon!

If you could send me the links, that'd be lovely.

Hello, and welcome to comp tf2! I help run the newbie mixes. We meet every Friday night from 9 PM est to 1 AM est to play games. Basically, you get partnered up with 5 other "newbie" players and a coach. So you have a full team of players that are roughly your skill level and a coach that has considerable experience in TF2 watching over you and helping you out.

Info on how to join and play in mixes can be found on our steam group page: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/na6v6newbiemix

I'd also recommend you get an FPS config to improve your framerate. You are at a considerable disadvantage at such a low FPS. You can get one of comanglia's configs here: http://www.teamfortress.tv/25328/comanglia-s-config-fps-guide You can also ask any questions you have about the configs in that thread.

Best of luck, and always feel free to PM me on TFTV if you have any questions about getting into tf2!

also if you have low fps you can drop your res to something super shitty like 800x600

type -dxlevel 81 -w 800 -h 600 in your launch options
