Hi, I am arorno. I am looking to join a team in ESEA this season in order to improve at the game and challenge myself. I would like to join a low open team as this is my first season in ESEA. I want to grow as a team rather than just individually.
I am available every day except for one hour and a half period of time that I can reschedule to fit my team's needs. I played in a few newbie mixes to start out and develop my general sense of how the 6s format works. I have since been told to leave as my game sense and dm are "pretty good". I have played in assorted PUGs and in about 10 scrims with a team.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, my steam profile is below.

I coached arorno last night in a newbie mix. I thought for a moment that i was being fooled and it was somebody alting. I barely had to talk and coach my team as arorno had a constant stream of really good, timely main-calls and did his best to micro people when he could (all from demoman). His dm was consistantly good too. He basically carried the team as much as he could. The mix was a 0-3 loss on snakewater but I think it might have been a 0-5 10 minute loss without his contribution, both personally and in organizing the team.

I then learned that arorno is or is planning to play in UGC-Iron. ??? Please, no. This dude is super smart, eager to be challenged, and just full of serious potential. He also has comms and leadership beyond what most people can get, newbie or not. This dude impressed the hell out of me and if you're going to be playing this coming season in ESEA-Open you really should give him a tryout!

I have seen the full evolution of arorno, having coached him at least 5 times in newbie mixes. He went from a newer, slightly timid player with good mechanics and potential into a true leader who has developed a strong foundation of gamesense and knowledge that will surely help him and any team that is so fortunate to have him in open this season.

Arorno was the example of a prime student, comes in with questions, with a stated plan/goal, volunteers to main call but understands if someone else needs to get a little help with it instead. But even when he isn't main calling, he helps urge and guide the person who is (or is supposed to be) to do their job and is a really positive influence on the other students. His ability to introspect about how/why he made a wrong move in certain situations points to a demoman that is excited and motivated to improve his gameplay in every way possible.

I think he is selling himself short putting low open, this demo would not feel out of place on a team that is going into their second season in a low/mid capacity. With the current demoman drought, I would not be surprised if a team sees potential in him and were willing to put the work in at the upper area of that range, possibly even starting to contest some playoff bubble teams. Everyone knows of those players that make a meteoric rise through the ranks, hitting high open/IM, even invite with exceptional speed. I would not be surprised to see arorno being one of those guys this time next year.

Best of luck bud, don't hesitate to hit me up with questions.
