Guys help me, I just reinstalled the game the other day, and I got this weird checkered pink and black all over my screen. I reinstalled it, and it continued to happen. HELP

that represents a missing texture, check to see if its something synced through steam cloud in your custom folder. If not, verify game cache, and after that, fully delete manually and reinstall.

If you get over your whole screen but not in the menus it is commonly transparent viewmodels being not completely synced through steam cloud.

tks guys, i tried uninstalling it like 5 times, and when i removed the transparent viewmodel it worked
