I thought about making something new to help some new/old editors exercise their edits.
ill try to upload a pack of 5/6 recorded frags with some smooths.
frags recorded at 240 fps
smooths recorded at 960 fps
I used handbrake to avoid using 5 gb files.
I saw something like that in csgo community and it works pretty damn good.
I will give a deadline , at the end of it ill pick “top 3 clips”.
(the pack includes all the demos - so you will be able to record your own stuff aswell)
Maybe in the future there will be some prizes…. idk anyways its not the goal.
So, I will edit a clip with the given footage before I release it (ill stream every single edit in my twitch channel so you can see how I do it) , Ill upload my clip to my youtube channel (my clip will be an example for a legal entry).
you will find the download link of the footage pack in the description of the video.
how to participate:
1. download the pack from the description of my example at my youtube channel
2. add the TFcomp image made by googler to your movie (idc where/when just add it somewhere)
3. add #TFcomp at description
4. post ur edits at this thread , like that : Shit by BraveHeart – [1st TFcomp edition]
Its not like I’m an amazing editor (and basically this is the point) , just trying to help lazy people that don’t want to record shit.
keep in mind we are doing it for fun.

This sounds pretty neat.
I think the majority of an edit's artistic value comes from the smooths though, so it will be interesting to see what people do with this. I may try it out too.
