Anyone know the command to remove the uuber effect from pov so that I can record a smooth without a color distortion?
KanecoThere's no way to do it afaik
I remember doing it a long time ago, i just don't remember how

Hmm, really not sure about that, the only commands I know off that interact with uber are addcond 5 to uber yourself and removecond 5 to remove the uber effect on yourself, but that requires sv cheats on and doesn't work on pov demos obviously, only while playing.
I looked for that a while ago because I also did some smooths with the uber effects and at that time couldn't find any way to remove the effect.
Unless it's possible it can be changed with a specific .vpk like the ones to remove the sniper dot from smooths, then I don't think its possible

You could just recreate what's going on in SFM and make a smooth in that.
It is totally possible by overriding materials. It didnt work with the sv_pure being enforced problem, but since that is now fixed it works again. My recording tool even has a checkbox for that (Disable Übercharge Overlay) but it is quite old and I havent updated it in a while, and Im not sure what the other tools have, but its fairly possible they also have a thing for that.

Both lawena and source rec don't have that option
Mind sharing the material / .vpk file for disabling the overlay then?

I hope people can figure out what to do with it, its a materials folder, you just gotta put it in custom
