Hi,

I'll be taking this with me to i52 most probably. Whether I definitely need it there/for the bootcamp still remains to be seen, but I'm taking it just in case. Wondering if anyone would want to buy it while they are there. It's in ok condition (it works!), but you can't raise/lower it (i.e. one height) so you're SOL in that department. That's nothing wrong with the condition; just how the monitor works if you know about it. THIS IS ONE OF THE FIRST 120HZ LCD's!

IF you are at the event at the time and just want a cheap ass 120hz monitor because you don't have one, let me know. I'll probably look at around 50 quid or something just to get rid of it, though we can negotiate something. This will also exclude a DVI-D + power cable; you'll have to get your own. They should be cheap.

I have and use a 2233rz as my main 120hz monitor. To circumvent the annoyingly low stand, I use a desk-mount dual-monitor arm. This monitor has never had any problems for me and is also pretty sturdy. Additionally, the 2233rz has a native res of 1680x1050.

My 2233rz is still going strong...love this monitor, had it since it's release in 09 and it's a beast. If you don't absolutely need 1080p or higher, and just want a solid 120hz monitor, it's well worth the money.

I'd definitely be interested, looking to get rid of my 16" tv
£50 sounds like a solid deal.

Ok edit with images since I'm about to pack it.

As you can see in one of the images, the stand of the monitor got cracked when in the suitcase on the way to the UK last year. I have since used put it together again, and the screen tilts just fine. As far as I am aware, I am unable to make it crack by tilting it different degrees, etc.

There is also a mark/annoying scratch in the middle of the screen as you can see in one of the images. Any other imperfections you'll be able to see in the images I don't pay too much mind to. As I've said, I'll be palming this off for 50 quid or something like that. I think it is pretty reasonable despite there being a crack in the stand and some other imperfections, and it's still 120hz.

Overall, the condition isn't awful. It is easily usable and the damage it has received in the like 4+ years I have owned it hasn't changed its usability. I don't really feel this is 'ripping off' or 'misleading', as I am at least providing photos.

excuse the lighting etc
