so apparently nfo datacenters in chicago had a massive cooling system failure which is causing a bunch of issues for all of their servers even outside chicago, and given their prevalence as a server provider for serveme and general private team servers, be ready for some dogshit.
first the item servers then nfo... maybe valve is sending a message
new updates from the nfo event log
Update @ 9pm CST: We are told that one of the broken chillers is back online now and that temperatures have stabilized at 120 degrees F. It is still not possible for us to effectively troubleshoot downed equipment, but we are monitoring very closely and will try to bring everything back online as soon as we are able to.
Update @ 9:41pm CST: The facility says that another chiller is back online and that temperatures are slowly decreasing now, but we have not seen a change yet in our equipment status. We are continuing to monitor and wait.
in my non expert opinion it will probably be a couple days

Equinix' CHI1 datacenter had a meltdown. You can read about it straight from them here.
cayorne... as a server provider for serveme ...
We stopped using NFO back in june as their VPS performance became unacceptable.
All our servers are currently up and we expect no further downtime from the servers itself, but routing might get a little funky while Equinix sorts out their issues.
