Via the Steam Community:

Valve- Fixed Crasher's contract objective pointing to the wrong map
- Fixed the Escape Hell contract objective not triggering on some maps
- Fixed a materials problem with the More Gun Marshal
- Fixed a materials problem with the Ghoul Blaster war paint
- Fixed overlapping character audio during some of the new taunts
- Updated ctf_crasher
- Fixed some instances of the announcer being interrupted by casual mode lines
- Cleaned up some logic safeguards that have proven unnecessary post-release
- Fixed giant deaths despawning pumpkin bombs
- Fixed nag lines not properly disabling on first flag pickup
- Extended non-buildable area around flag to prevent blocking giants
- Updated koth_sawmill_event
- Fixed a bug where players could be stuck with low-gravity
- Fixed a bug where players could hit their head on the kill trigger for catapulted enemies appearing from the underworlds deathpit

- Size is ~50 MB (although very early downloaders may have seen as high as ~65 MB)

wickedplayer494- Chances are very good that your Steam client will be brought to its knees attempting to download this update, making it a majority of the way through before nearly stalling to bytes per second

I was wondering what was causing this, but I'm almost certain the person who pushed the patch doesn't know either. Guess I'll play TF2 tomorrow.

lmao it's already nosediving

The bots are honestly taking a toll despite the attempts to fix what was already a shit ton of sloppy fuck ups pushing this out. I know a Eric had his hands on some updates previous to Halloween, but honestly it shows when someone who isn’t seasoned working on this game does anything “major”.

Edit: and I am being critical, and I have 0 experience with anything like this, but I do hope that contractor, especially if they continue to work beyond whatever they was set time wise / flat rate per update, whatever it is, learn from their mistakes. If this wasn’t entirely the contractors fault, if valve even had a single employee who has worked on this game during its prime, this shit does in fact look extremely bad.
