We just gotta remember that tf2 and the 5cp game mode are still in it's infancy so obviously this won't be perfect right away. Probably in the next 20-30 years we'll have this nailed down and start looking towards being a tier 1 esport

u say this as a joke but if u looked at any popular sport 15 years into its lifespan it would probably look like pure dogshit

a) i am also on the boat that 3 minutes is too fast, and rewards turtling too much as others have noted.
b) that being said, i enjoy the aspect of "playing for the win" instead of "playing to reach golden cap" in the heat of the game.
c) i feel like it also promotes the use of tac pauses in-game which im not really sure is a good thing or a bad thing yet as a replacement for half times. i guess it's neither, just different? as long as teams arent punished for needed to let their poor gamer empty their bladder

thats all my thoughts i got from LAN personally
