I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place... As much as I hate myself for starting a post that way. I'm new to the site- but have a question I think you guys can answer.
I was watching the Tip of the Hats stream this weekend between sleep and work, and I could have sworn someone mentioned another big competitive stream coming up on the 20th? I've looked around, and I found a post about the ESEA-Open Grand Finals on the 17th, but nothing else about it.
So, am I crazy? Or am I blind?
On a partly related note, is there a good place to see when all the competitive streams will be in advance? Or do you have to follow all the players, and see if they mention it? I only found about about Tip of the Hats because Star_ posted a video telling people it was going on.
Thank you for any help at all, even if its just to tell me where else to look.

Hey, welcome to teamfortress.tv. What you're looking for is the ESEA LAN Finals which will be taking place next weekend on twitch.tv/esea_orange I believe.

Edit: Also Communities vs. Pros 5 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXmTkjpZqgU) will be taking place on May 4th, so tune in to that too!

if you wanna follow competitive tf2 streams or streams in general, bookmark this site and look under the live streams on the right side.

ESEA LAN is next weekend. the 4 best teams in north america will play for the ESEA s13 championship and about $11k. there will be a post in the upcoming events soon for that. in the meantime you can read a preview of the LAN by MR slin here:

The playoffs for ESEA's TF2 Invite teams will start on April 20th and finish on April 21st with the grand finals. You can see the brackets and look up the teams here: http://play.esea.net/index.php?s=league&d=bracket&id=5039

Amazing! Thank you- I couldn't find any of that.
And thanks for the tips about following streams! I suck at tf2 myself, but I have a blast watching it. And this looks like the site to follow it on!

Yeah I had the same reaction when I first visited this site. All these matches people seemed to talk about never seemed to show up on the schedule. Only later on did I find out the best way to see upcoming matches was to look at the League Schedule page on ESEA.net (http://play.esea.net/index.php?s=league&d=schedule&game_id=43&division_level=open).

I really would be nice to have easy access to a League Schedule via teamfortress.tv.

ESEA LAN will be casted on www.twitch.tv/ESEA_Orange if I'm not mistaken.

the upcoming events/schedule thing is intended solely for casted/streamed events

To expand on my thought: I am thinking of a way to easily know of every single ESEA TF2 match, from open to invite. Possibly an Upcoming Matches section that lists all that matches for ONLY the current day with a link to both the stats page and SourceTV. At that point you would only have to list "ESEA LAN" in the events section.

Looking further ahead from the LAN and CVP coming soon, the Free-4-All tournament will be back this year except it will be on July 27th this year during the summer rather than when people are in school in September. Gonna be sick, I don't wanna release too many details yet but it will be awesome.
