Currently sitting at 108 teams!!!! Last season was 89.
Obviously this includes some dead IM/Open ones but from a quick check, there doesn't seem to be that many.

Same. The longer the registration is open, the higher the chance is that more teams better than mine will register.

From my short time on comp TF2 it seems we'll get a lot more interesting coverage in terms of articles and the like, and with the playoff teams moved up to IM it's likely to make the competition a little bit closer than before. Woo!

If the season won't start until the 20th, then there's no reason not to extend.
If it's going to start on the 13th, then it's too late. Probably is starting on the 20th though since the CSGO Invite poll hasn't happened yet.

CSGO Invite already has 12 teams from the standings? Don't see a reason not to continue on.
