After a competitive showing in qualifiers, the new bloods of platypugesports are ready to make their Invite debut in RGL Season 6.

The team contains a mixture of talent and experience, united through the power of their pug group sponsorship. Leading them are Scout aimer and Medic hubida, with the former placing third in Advanced last season on dior addicts. Returning from exile after playing for the infamous 1-512-PLUMPWENCH in Season 3 Div-2, hubida and Pocket manacute will be making their first Invite foray.

Other additions to the team include claps on Scout and tojo on Roamer. The former has been on a quick rise through the ranks, first winning Main in Season 3 with aimer on Family Friendly Content, subbing in for Honey Bacon Club's title run in Season 4 Div-2, and most recently taking bronze with dior addicts. Conversely, tojo is a veteran, returning to Invite after playing for notable ESEA teams such as MyAnimeList and Hells Kitchen.

Finally, a last-minute roster shakeup saw the departure of Demoman artist for Witness Gaming. Replacing them is Hunter 2.0, a well-known figure in Advanced having been active since Season 1 of RGL, notably finishing second in Season 2 with Happy Kronge Bois and fourth on Season 5's dubiously-named : /.

Leader aimer spoke on their pre-season performance:

We didn't expect to lose in the qualifiers because we had prepared a lot before coming into it. Scrimming Froyotech and other mid invite teams helped us understand what high invite is, and we got pretty good results in some of the scrims. We usually demo review after scrims to see what mistakes we made and correct them the next day. Therefore, we all felt confident going into the qualifiers and knowing that we would make it. The goal for this season in invite is to gain experience and potentially getting some upset wins.
