Season 2 of RGL brings upon new forms of competition, along with some old faces jumping back into the fray. Dunk Masters return to HOOP in a conquest to qualify for the O’ so COVETED LAN.
After a disappointing season, they have decided to make some changes to their starting lineup.
Come on and slam...
Sittin’ the bench this season is Paulyy, Dippidy, and Lolguy who have stepped down from their roles of flank scout, combo scout, and medic respectively. Replacing Paulyy on the role of flank scout is Pabwo, the former King’s Crew (now known as Mad Luxurious) hooper, who looks to make his GAME-CHANGING DEBUT on the court for Dunk Masters. In for Dippidy is returning combo scout Shiny, who formerly sought out greener pastures for a now DECEASED Glove World, looks to BALL OUT for his former home-town team. Replacing Lolguy is invite veteran Saam, who recently placed second in advanced with Big Dogs as combo scout.
Prolific Prop Hunt player, Shiny, answered some questions about the former and upcoming season:
How does it feel to return hooping with the boys?
After the struggle of making playoffs with three wins last season it’s nice to be in a more relaxed team environment. It's unfortunate that my teammates have formed the RGL cabal though, I could do without admin corruption.
How does the aspiration for LAN affect your team's motivation coming into the season?
It has made us take the game a lot more seriously than we have in prior seasons. I’m especially interested in qualifying so that I can confirm that Bowl isn’t a hologram.
Do you have any words of wisdom before you depart on the team bus?
Daf is holding me hostage and forcing me to play.
Looking to continue Larry’s legacy, the Dunk Masters are balling with:
- Scout: Shiny
- Scout: Pabwo
- Roamer: Jeff
- Pocket: Daffodil
- Demoman: Bowl
- Medic: Saam
