Lawena not working correctly after Jungle Inferno

Since the jungle inferno update my Lawena hasn't been executing it's custom hud files correctly. The game launches as if it was a -default copy of the game and hud elements aren't removed when viewing a demo.

  • I'm using version 4.1.16
  • I've already tried restarting explorer.exe, my PC, and re-installing Lawena itself.
  • Manually moving HUD files from lawena-stable-4.1.16\lawena\hud to Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\lawena also doesn't work.

Anyone have any ideas?

try using these commands instead of the default recording key:

"host_framerate [your framerate here]; startmovie a;"
"endmovie; host_framerate 0;"

bind each of these to a key.

in addition try setting your tga folder back to just tf/ because sometimes the game refuses to write to anywhere else.

why is it saving the tga's to my tf folder, when the movie folder is set to a separate folder ):<

This is a common error unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it iirc.

If you have any issues regarding Lawena, leave bug reports in its Github page, the developer is super active.
