I have no clue i am still trying to figure this out i just walked in my house today and a envelop with a check was in it. Maybe all those hours on skate 2 actually did pay off.

edit: it does say pecover v. electronic arts, what happened exactly?

Basically EA was found to be violating anti-trust legislation by having a monopoly on the football video game market due to them having exclusive video game rights to the NFL, which is "the only viable sports football associations and leagues in the United States."

You're getting paid because the courts found you were unlawfully not given any alternatives in football video games.

That's what I got skimming through the order anyways
