The timing was just not good for any uni student. Ik it was due to someone else taking up last year's time slot but still it stopped my team and at least 2 others I talked to from attending (we went to i69 last year).

game stuttering every few minutes

Check in task manager for a thing called "Steam WebClientHelper" and try to force quit it. Sometimes "SteamWebClientHelper" takes up like 3 GB of my RAM, making my game stutter.
