TF2 optimisation is so stupid that it actually wouldn't surprise me if people were somehow getting higher framerates with this, even though nobody's posted benchmarks who've claimed it.
My shitty laptop used to have its framerate almost exactly doubled by leaving -dxlevel 81 in launch options instead of taking it out after the 1st launch. However it also emits a high pitched whine through the headphones whenever I move my cursor so it's quite possibly my laptop that's completely fucked and not the game.

It's been fairly fun to play casually, enjoyed a few of the chars but there's no way in a million years this is more enjoyable than even pub tf2.
The main issue I have with the game compared with other fps is it's just a clusterfuck of things going on. Feels like I just do random shit and numbers come up on the screen, like I'm not really in control of whether I hit things, I'm not really sure when I am killing things half the time, and I don't feel like the things I do or kills I get are important or contribute to the match in any way. I played junkrat in my first match and spammed random angles and finished the game 32/8 with 13k damage, half the time I didn't see what I was hitting or killing.

Idk about the gap between the 1st and 2nd team getting even bigger if mike actually does join the perilous roster as pocket.

Try a different/more updated browser. I had to uninstall and redownload chrome to update it to get pugchamp to work.

Seems you can't reserve seats yet as the multiplay account's event booking system is still tied to eventbrite but the tickets to i58 were done through the ticket factory. Hopefully it will work when they say tomorrow

Play demo jump maps, helps a ton because u actually work out where the sticky will go at different levels of charge.

I also have had an arthropod that I've really wanted to identify for ages. No picture but when I was in Fiji I saw a group of these weird bright bluish legged spider/harvestman/cranefly things vibrating rapidly. The closest thing I've found to how they vibrate is cellar spiders- but these were definitely living communally and they seemed to be walking around flying or hovering above the rock they were on (though I'm not sure if there was a web I couldnt see because it was vibrating really fast).

I reckon Nuze would be a good pick, Spudd is the obvious choice but he's already in a team and it would be nice to see someone like Nuze in a top team.

I'm fine with sheepy posting his opinions in politics threads and getting downfragged to hell, its when he brings shit up in completely unrelated threads and makes them worse that it becomes a problem.

If anything he should be banned for derailing threads, not his opinions.
