TF2 Freezing

It's not a capacity issue; it's the read and/or write speed of the drive. The only thing I can think of is HDD. It was time I updated my PC a few years ago when I had the issue, and I replaced everything bar HDD - issue still remained until I bought a WD Black HDD.
I now have both steam and TF2 on my SSD with no issue. gl

Could be HDD related (either the one steam is on, or TF2 is on, or both). Had a similar issue when I used one of those WD green drives for my steam + TF2 install. Do you have any other hdds you can test?

@TechDude - "futureproof" is the dumbest description one can use when buying PC's/PC hardware, since there's actually no such thing.

Bumping this since I have been playing a lot of D3 the past 2 or so weeks since the Ladder Season started. I haven't been playing HC this season (maybe make a toon at some point), but it has been a lot of fun so far. Got to about top 20 or thereabouts for 4 player Greater Rifts (45), and hoping to push it harder at some point.
