I started playing TF2 again a few days ago, and I was excited to play as I heard that the map loading times were much faster due to SteamPipe being introduced to TF2. I noticed that they were not for me. The solution I came up with was to reset my computer to factory default settings, but that didn't work out. I still get long map loading times. I am also confused because my brother has the exact same model as my computer, yet his map load times are much faster. The only noticeable difference I see is that he is participating in the Steam Beta Update, but I don't know if that makes any diiference in regards to TF2. Any help would be much appreciated.
