from the East you can prob get 30/50 to Chi/Dallas so thats a lot better.

I have a Blue Snowball and I regret buying it. Just use a second headset like a true baller. Also what tooth said: mechanical keyboard and desk mic is the worst with voice activation.

wanted to add I dont actually hate fatal1ty, hes a nice guy when hes not shoving a motherboard down your throat. It's hard to say that he'll lose cause hes really good under pressure like in the painkiller new york thing, no one expected him to win, but he just clutches when theres lots of money involved lol

Get them if you wanna look like Bono.. nah but seriously I wouldnt recommend gunnars cause they have a slight magnification (which is not a good thing - for eyestrain/unless you needed it to see). The 'AMBeR' lens actually does reduce glare/eyestrain but I mean its just a yellow lens and any pair of glasses with yellow tint is equally as effective. The marketing on their site and steelseries is laughable bs eg: 'The highly wrapped, curved lens shape limits air currents near the eyes, creating a higher humidity environment.' lmfao steelseries is a joke of a company

-better response time. thats a fact.
-can have higher refresh rate if you run a high end CRT on low resolution. (some do 200hz)
-refresh rate is best at low resolution, the higher the resolution the lower refresh rate it will have.

LCD (120hz)
-takes up less space
-has widescreen (a few CRT's do also, eg: fw900 but they are 16:10, no 16:9)
-Can do max/native resolution with 120hz. Lower resolutions don't work very well.

noticeably worse imo. in the g500 the sensor isnt in the middle (its mounted towards the front of the mouse) which is just crap. this ruins the mouse for me.

also the laser sensor is inferior to the g400 optical, and its front heavy without weights or just straight up heavy if u put them in. I dont like the three sidebuttons very much (this is opinion). the scroll wheel is pretty sick on the g500 tho ill give it that. if you dont game anymore I think the g500 scroll wheel would be amazing for spreadsheets :]

g400 is pmuch flawless

I use mouse4 and mouse5, and q is melee.
