you can't get that amount of protein easily without supplements so staying healthy while working out is just harder
your jaw/ teeth can be badly shaped/deformed if you don't eat it while you're growing as meat is some of the hardest to chew food we can readily get. let alone other defects you can get while growing up
if we were in the wild and a hungry animal saw us he wouldn't think 2 seconds before eating us, sure we're smarter and have self awareness but both parties are going to die anyway and want eachother to die for the most part, either for resources or for less danger

also my subjective opinion but i feel like if most people switched to being vegan we'd have a global skinny crisis as most people wouldn't be educated well enough on how to sustain their current weight from just vegetables and fruit

we all play the game for fun but at the end of the day we're all going to grow up and eventually leave this game for other games if we don't have more reason to stay. a bunch of pros in OW have said they'd love to continue playing tf2 but they have to get money to live and so they play overwatch.
money makes the world go round', they don't need to actually change balancing but giving us money to use is one of the single best things they can do

that is entirely dependent on your hardware, if you have older hardware you get better frames with older software (dx8) if you have new hardware that's actually modern you're in most cases gonna get a very small fps boost in dx8 and in other cases no boost at all. that's just because of the amount of props/effects not supported. i'm running a ryzen 2400g apu and i only get around 10 more frames on dx8 than 9

After getting a rig that can handle tf2, i decided to start messing around with dx levels, to see what would work best for me. After a bit of experimenting i found something a bit weird, going to 80 from 90 (or any dx9 level for that matter) and then back to 90 gives some different looking results than just launching the game on a stock set direct x level.
(i do not know if you get these same results by having dx level in your launch options).

This can give an advantage for people in specific areas as this not only weirdly sharpens the textures but also clears the fog a little bit and makes the game brighter.
Upward usual sniper position this example is of both dx 8 and dx9 with the changes.
It's not as dramatic of a change as some may expect but there is a difference from regular dx 9 (i've had to open my game too many times to bother getting another screenshot so just live with this) It's a more dramatic difference on a dark map like badwater though.

i disagree that it's our fault though, if they fuck up it's their fault for letting this happen, yes we're the ones that abused this but think of this from a real life situation, if you could get something worth 100 euros for 5 euros you'd do it in a heartbeat, don't even try to put morals on this, this is in no way the fault of the players and 100% the fault of valve
even if half the players had the same view as @ninlop the economy would still die from this, and simply knowing that you're just being an idiot by not abusing that, besides even if you put morals into this, you'd still be one of the people lining up to take free money in an irl situation, if you already know that it's gonna destroy the economy why not just accept it and join in, you're not helping at all with this, think of the massive amount of people that came back to the game to do this bug, if you took all the players like b4nny swearing off doing this you probably wouldn't even get 1% of the people who know about this and abused it.
your morals aren't wrong but jesus fuck it's a dead game just enjoy the fireworks as we all join in mutually assured destruction, it's already a guarantee. what's the point in fighting the inevitable? and don't pretend like you wouldn't do this anyway. you might say you wouldn't but lets be honest all the people saying they wouldn't would be the first people to line up for this kind of stuff, you can deny it as much as you want but realistically the stats speak against you, regardless of how strong your morals are, a good enough price will make any man crumble.
