#6 new PC? in Hardware
hurrykanntermohey guys,

basically I'm wondering if I need a new pc, currently I've got:

intel core i7 2600k
asrock z77 extreme9
nvidia geforce gtx 760
G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL (2x4GB) DDR3
h50 or h60 cooling for my cpu

my pc freezes up and crashes a fair bit, i had it overclocked for a long time to get better performance in games

everythings about 3 years old although I did some upgrades like new gfx card. I could spend like $2k to get something new if its worth doing?
Your setup is quite good, I don't know what might cause the freezes but check if the HDD is dying, if your PSU is dying, check if motherboard is dying and lastly check RAM. A cool purchase you could do is getting a SSD, if you don't have one.

thanks I got one

im going to give my computer a clean because I havent done that in the 3 yrs ive owned it :D also i didnt mention one of my case fans died (this can be easily replaced?)

maybe investing in better cooling also might not be a bad alternative to buying whole new parts if my existing ones are OK?

eulogy_termoeulogy_positioning and movement is huge, using the objects on the map (boxes, trains, and even corners) to make a fight more in your favor. focus more on living instead of forcing damage (less time in spawn = potential for useful damage) and it will pay dividends early on for you
sounds like a bunch of bs

which part?

sift your stats from I52 and you will notice a correlation between deaths to damage (i saw 1 log in which u died less than opposing demo and failed to out damage them)

as for movement im pretty certain you kite objects/turn corners to avoid damage or to create space to make a fight easier seeing as your on a class which is good for denial

not sure, its hard to explain in a forum post. I'm probably doing those things, but its not something im thinking about at all, and i dont think its helpful for a new player

the "macro" decisions are way more important, being able to read the situations and play based on that is the ultimate showing of a good player, and is what separates good players like WAR with great players like b4nny (he is on another level) and i can see it everytime i watch his stream

why do you think my stats were better? PLAYING CORRECTLY bASED ON THE SITUATION aka decision making, its way more complicated than just "trying to live more", stop thinking on such a surface level

i dont like trying to explain it because i can never seem to express it in the way that i want, 99% of the posts re improvement on these forums are complete garbage

to the OP i would suggest you just play and try and learn/improve on your own, because you wont learn much here

DM servers helped me get sharp for i52 (keep in mind i had not been playing for ~6 months prior) prac rollouts like james said and just have fun with it

edit: i also played a fuck load of mge vs triggerbotting rep and other good scouts which prob helped me get good at those "sticky pipe combos"

renxzenyukiIn some AsiaFortress finals ages ago, a team comprised of mostly Aussies with pings between 100-300+ won against a sub 40 ping team.
That was a long time ago and that doesn't mean you could get your ass kicked if the asians took the game more seriously. I didn't thought you could kick eu/na teams ass before i49.
Instead of killing the scene with your words, ask what can YOU do to help.

loool

we'll make a team and CRUSH u again anytime baby

aimanfireAsia needs more exposure. and asian teams should seriously show up for international events like IM does

asian teams wouldnt be close to good enough to compete at an i series

LangeI stopped signing items mostly because it became a hassle. I'd get a few dozen requests a week, and a not-insignificant percentage of them were rude and entitled. It began to felt like a chore that I just didn't want to deal with any longer.

This, also don't get the fascination over wanting something signed, we are nerds not sports stars
