Pendji Wasn't that the goal of XV1?
The goal of every game is to be the best of its kind.
Pendji Like really, every single DBZ game retells the same story, and other than adding GT characters, they never actually expand into the GT universe cus lolnotcanon.
If you think every DB game tells the same story you haven't played many db games, and many many games expand into the GT universe, XV being the most recent example itself.

The graphics do look the same yeah but the graphics for budokai 1 2 and 3 were all very similar but improved with each game, because they are sequels. Why would a direct sequel have a very different art style?
Pendji what could it add onto the storytelling that the 10 prior games didn't? I've been with the games from budokai 1 but this shit is getting tiresome.
XV was in my opinion the game changing db game for it's storytelling, the whole idea of time patrolling and the history of DB being changed is very fresh compared to other DB games. XV2 should be expanding on this by letting you control some aspects of what is changed, if the trailer isn't bullshitting everyone.
Pendji Hell, PvP didn't even work in XV for quite a while and people were hacking day 1.
Never has there been a game that has been perfect since day 1. TF2 has been out for 9 years and there are still plenty of cheaters. Dark Souls 3 has had cheaters from day one as well, does that make either of them bad games?
