#9 Danerdz - Medic LF High Open Team in Recruitment (looking for team)

danerdz is a great medic and I think he'll fit in just fine on a good open team. Make sure you try this kid out.

#1 Tool soldier looking for open team in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hey so it looks like my team broke up by week 2 :(. Hearts to my old team. This means I am looking again for a S14 ESEA-O team. I would say I am capable of playing at a mid/high-open level. I play soldier and prefer roamer but can pocket as well. I currently have a roaming mentor too who will help me out with demo reviews, etc. I am available to scrim 6-7 nights a week, am EST, and can stay up as late as u need me. I'm also always willing to put in the time aside from scrims to go over demos and help the team improve. I can also pay my own fees and can get access to a server and mumble if needed.

My experience:

ESEA-O S9: Nerd Stars (5-7 + playoffs)
ESEA-O S10: Point and Click (5-7)
ESEA-O S11: Moose Fortress (Backup)
ESEA-O S12: Beast Mode (5-7)

Add me for a tryout yo!

#23 TF2 Daily? What do you think? in TF2 General Discussion

Thanks again to everyone for the input. I have gotten a lot of positive feedback from this so I am going to try to make it happen. As a lot of people said, I think for the first few weeks I should just focus on maybe two shows per week with maybe 20-40 mins of actual content in each.

With this being the target, what days of the week would be best? Also, what time would be best? I would like to make sure I am not overlapping with other shows (Fully Charged) or getting in the way of normal scrim times. I was thinking of doing maybe Monday/Thursday at 8 EST? Any other suggestions?

Expect some kind of show in the next two weeks as I have started collecting content and talking to people on steam who want to help!

#6 TF2 Daily? What do you think? in TF2 General Discussion

Thanks for the input already. My original goal was to have four 20-30 min shows each week, probably monday-thursday. I am sure that this will prove to be hard to reproduce this length, but honestly I can spend 20 minutes of my day talking about tf2 without much problem.

Funday Monday is eventually one of my goals. I love this daily theme and think it can transition well to tf2.

I did want to try to have at least one day of the week be targeted toward the more advanced, competitive side of tf2, similar to what Day9 does with his replay analyses. This way the program could be a great bridge between the casual pubber and the super serious invite player.

I'd be more than happy to include international coverage, but I am not sure how this would fit in a weekly format. I know day9 will have themes each week, and maybe Euro theme could be one?

I think fully charged is a great program and I do not expect this to take off to that level immediately, but rather, i'd like to gain an audience that I can grow through semi-daily programing.

#1 TF2 Daily? What do you think? in TF2 General Discussion

Hi everyone. It's tool here. I have been playing with this idea for well over a year now and I think I am close to making this happen. For those that are familiar with the starcraft scene, Day9 is a popular caster that does SC2 dailies to teach new players (as well as vets) and spread the greatness that is e-sports and sc2 gaming.

A long time ago, monster was trying to start an equivalent TF2 daily cast, but he never was able to get it going. By the time I had offered to help monster, he already had to leave for school. Taking from his initiative, I wanted to see who would be interested in a TF2 daily (The Daily Dispenser) which would be organized much like Day9's dailies in which there will be about 4 casts a week at a scheduled time with a different focus for each day.

Topics I would like to include once a week:

Newbie Daily (targeted at pub comp, UGC, cevo, low open)
Match demo review
POV demo review with POV player in mumble
Pub tips/tricks
Friend Day where we get to interview someone on mumble

So... what does teamfortress tv think? If this sounds like a good idea, let me know. Or, if you even would like to help with production/planning, add me on steam. I have everything setup for streaming on my side, as well as a webcam, mumble, etc. In addition, I actually have the free time coming up for the next 12 months where I can actually plan something like this into my own schedule.

Other questions for the community...
what time would be good for this?
what days would work?
would this overlap too much with fully charged/extines show?
what other content would you like to see?

So, let me know here what everyone thinks. Or, if you'd like to talk to me directly, add me if you want to talk about this!

#25 Steam pug group for ESEA-Open players? in TF2 General Discussion

Hi there. I would really like to see this happen. There have been different teams that organize pug groups in the past, and while these were usually successful, I think a general open pug group would be amazing and would get at a much wider audience. If you need help running this or organizing scrims on servers, add me and I'd be more than happy to help.

#1 ESEA-O Playoff Cast: Indust vs Tonights Ent 11 EST in TF2 General Discussion

Hello everyone its tool again. I wanted to cast this match since it seems like nobody else is. Its going to be another ESEA-Open playoff match tomorrow (TUESDAY), this time between Indust we trust (#1) vs Tonights Entertainment (#7). This is the Lower Bracket Round 5 match and the winner will advance to play in the lower bracket final against Playground Tactics, while the loser will be knocked out of the playoffs! The map will be cp_badlands. I expect a good match from two strong teams who I am sure are excited to play a standard CP map again.

I had some problems with the audio balance for my last gpit cast but that will be fixed before tonight. I will be joined by a mystery co-caster. Tune it at 11 EST to catch the action!

edit: match tuesday but ill still cast it. thanks for heads up.
