What player would change tf2 the most if they quit

Top level tf2 has been very competitive at times and maybe that has introduced "a lot more audience members" but that wouldn't affect money almost in any way other than maybe lan fundraisers. And that's not enough to bring people back to tf2.
Also how would it make teams in different leagues around the world more competitive?

fundemental issues:
Doing well on the spy class and dying to it is mostly determined by luck, it's really shitty.
Sniper is fun to play but hinders the gameplay for everyone else.
A lot of maps are not suited at all for tf2's gameplay.
Although I love the cartooney graphics I also hate them because they attract way too many small children.
Dev team issues:
The tf2 dev team throughout the years has added unlocks in the game so they can keep the interest of the casual player but they didn't care to balance them properly.
The current dev team's collective iq is either extremely below average, or they don't care about the game at all, or they are deliberately sabotaging it. Nothing else makes sense.
