Yeah, I did the same thing a while ago. Played ~1 year with maxframes and rarely got above 30 frames, then built a new PC and played with maxquality. Best videogame related experience I have ever had.

i had pvh's surfaceproperties and no explosion particles. they definitely worked and stopped working recently.

What happened to edited particles? All particles I downloaded just stopped working and I can't figure out the particle editor, it just never lets me test the changes I saved.
