a lot of the things that happen in that movie are ridiculous, but i don't think that it did have a happy ending

yes, forrest gump finally gets the girl. yeah she has aids, but they both are old and will live out a period of their lives together. if you dont think thats happy then your standards are too high. La regle du jeu, sansho the bailiff, pulp fiction, the big lebowski, the birds, the shining, fargo, dr strangelove, and Das Cabinet des Dr Caligari are my favorite films. im sorry if you dont think the acting in those films is good
