umlflaccidseiterseiter1 I have found one error, when you get a notification for a new item and click it to view it. It just makes the icon disappear but not put it in your backpack. THe menu that shows doesnt work in other words haha
There is a bug I've noticed in tf2 where it tells you you have an item when you really don't. Thins may have happened to you. Did it show you an item when you clicked on the notification?
I'm getting this problem as well. I got the disappearing icon so I removed the hud from the custom folder and received the drop that way. It's not a bug with TF2 it's a bug with the hud.
