Thank you for your help, Frothmin and Kenneth. Server loopback does have a delay, but Local seems to have less. I'll play around with it and see how it goes. If anyone else has other suggestions I'd appreciate those too.

I've run into a bit of a predicament. Recently, I picked up a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 770's. My previous cans that I've used for the past couple years are the Audio Technica AD700's, which have an open-air design. This allows you to hear yourself when you talk. The DT 770's are incredible, but the only gaming-related problem with them is they're a closed design. They isolate sound very well, and this makes it difficult to accurately hear yourself. I've searched around and people suggest to go into Control Panel and check "Listen to Device" under Sound, but this has three downfalls: it's barely noticeable in game, my Blue Yeti mic picks up a lot of background noise, and the sound comes in at a slight delay.
I'm hoping somebody has encountered the same problem and has a specific solution. Namely, the ability to hear yourself talk in Mumble only when using your push to talk, in real time, and as others would hear you.

Has anyone ever traveled by train with a tower? Or planning to for GXL? I need to figure out the logistics of that.
flamehonestly if i were travelling with my tower id put all my components/peripherals in a backpack with my monitor then attach 2 straps to my empty case and call it a bag and make it my carry on.
idk the legality of that but it seems legit.
I looked up the carry on restrictions for one airline (United) and this is what I got:
The maximum dimensions for a carry-on bag are 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches (22 cm x 35 cm x 56 cm), including handles and wheels.
The maximum dimensions for your personal item, such as a shoulder bag, backpack, laptop bag or other small item, are 9 inches x 10 inches x 17 inches (22 cm x 25 cm x 43 cm).

If it's brand new just post once this actually comes out for a swap. Someone will buy it and say "this is too big"
Or, alternatively, just return it for a refund and use the money for a FK1

Has the potential to either make a team play better or worse than the sum total of its talent with his comms and game sense. Unfortunately it's more of the latter. Until he changes his attitude and approach, the negatives will outweigh the positives.
