dbkdalenuI think the main issue for me is that it looks like Eli got banned off a UGC mirror, and that the UGC ban was made without a strong investigation or appeal from Eli. I could be wrong about that, but the timing of how everything happened (Eli getting UGC banned like a day before the RGL ban) makes me want to know if RGL has solid proof or they're just following another league (which has had a history of questionable bans in the past).I don't think RGL actually mirrored the ban, but UGC has a history of banning then sharing the evidence with other anticheat teams. It's likely RGL was already investigating, but UGC did it faster/started earlier, then the additional evidence the UGC anticheat team had was enough to solidify the RGL AC team's evidence.
That said, I have very little personal experience with Eli besides a few pugs, so I don't have much opinion on whether he's cheating or not. If evidence was sent to RGL admins and they reviewed it and conclusively decided he was cheating, I'm fine with the ban. I'd personally just like a statement from RGL on what grounds they made their decision on (gameplay review, UGC mirror ban, etc.), not necessarily the specifics (e.g. evidence of wallhacking from a demo).
In the document urmphi states that UGC only asked elijah for demos after he receives the ban from them and not before, I find it hard to believe that they did it faster without even having any POV demos from eli himself.
