What's with RGL playoffs happening at bedtime?

Sorry NEETS but most people do not go to bed at 2am after watching 3 hours of tf2. What's stopping RGL from starting at like 8pm EST? This is not just a summer thing cause last season it started at 11pm too. I know west coasters are probably fine with the schedule but I'm tryna wake up for work without trash sleep.

dbkbearodactylhow do the logistics of demo bans actually work is it like they message u for demos and if u dont respond within 48 hours u get banned? curious how it actually went down like it can't have been that hard to just send over the demos but maybe there's something im not understanding48 hours (although im sure some admins are more lenient than others), if you dont have it you get banned. the system itself makes sense to keep people honest and have evidence for AC investigations, but having a 16 month old ban count as the warning for this ban is dogshit stupid
What would be a good decay then? 1 year? every season? Giving too short of leniency allows cheaters to take a refresh and not risk not having to send demos more often.

SetsulDreamboatThis IM one really confuses me. How is denying a someone who is in the division playing an offclass that they're eligible to play in the division allowed?Maybe it's because top IM scout mains offclassing to medic are clearly not the same skill level as mid IM medic mains (they're obviously much better), maybe it's because their teamleader knows an RGL admin. Could be either one, really.
someone on the other team may or may not be the head pug admin for RGL. I'm not saying anything happened though.
edit: the team leader also may or may not be involved with RGL dispatch

The thing is most of the problems have been with the admins (and the website is slower than the muma rollout). The RGL production team is pretty good. Maybe most players don't care about casts and productions but maybe look into ways to fix what's wrong instead of defaulting to just boycotting start over? Starting up a new league is doable but also feels like the hardest solution we can come up with.
