#12 "Let's Learn" w/ FROYO paddie in Videos
bearodactylSolid videos, I was kind of distracted by the music & contract noise in the beginning of the round but for the most part it was very easy to follow and very comprehensive. One other thing I'd suggest is changing mp_tournament so that you don't have to deal with the round timer running out. I wasn't watching live but the q/a style seems like a good idea so that you can make sure that people aren't getting lost and fully understanding what you're trying to say.

Thanks for the feedback, pretty much agree with all your points and I noticed all of them pretty much right after I had uploaded the videos. There will be some definite improvements for the next installments without a doubt.

#1 "Let's Learn" w/ FROYO paddie in Videos

Hey all, so for the longest time now I've been wanting to create content for players that are trying to get better at competitive TF2. I've noticed most other eSports scenes have plenty of resources for improvement and learning a lot more of the advanced concepts that you might not learn until several seasons of playing the game. I for one never really had such a resource with the exception of the old MGE videos, and even individual streams back when I started playing competitive were slim to none.

So I wanted to kind of start my own series teaching newer players about the many concepts in competitive 6v6 that aren't discussed as often as I'd like. Right now I've only got four videos and they are all highlights from a stream I did earlier in the day, however I plan to do at least one or two of these each week covering different subject matter within the game.I have a lot of ambition and high-hopes with where the series could go and my intent is to transition from a "rant" format to more of a concise and premeditated one, but I hope you guys enjoy and maybe learn something!

Here's the whole playlist thus far: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwhml_vE2h8QCIoAVfWX-Hwir5iRz758j

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIx-lse-dBE&list=PLwhml_vE2h8QCIoAVfWX-Hwir5iRz758j&index=4

Feel free to shoot me some ideas in the thread for subjects you'd want to be covered in the future.

#13 b4nny on mangoes???? in TF2 General Discussion

I have 31 hours on tf2 in the past 2 weeks and I have no real intention of rapidly increasing my play-time, and I will also be playing a bunch of overwatch outside of scrims and matches as soon as I can get in the regular closed beta (I played it for a majority of the weekend beta and had a ton of fun). I'm not sure that qualifies me for much of the potential criteria you are claiming exists mustard.

#400 ESEA-I S20 Happenings/Predictions in TF2 General Discussion

no slemnish isn't replacing freestate but i just couldn't take his memes anymore... i'm sorry i let down the community guys...

i was raging at my team really loudly during scrims and my dad came into my room mid-scrim and told me to shut the fuck up but i was really mad so i pushed him into the ground and broke his arm. after that i realized my horrific actions and realized i should never play tf2 again for the safety of myself those around me.

once again i'm really sorry everyone. i hope you'll find it in your hearts to forgive me. if only i could ever forgive myself..

#13 Clarification for LFT and LFP forums in Site Discussion

All I'm saying is we should have different sub-sections in the recruitment sub-forum to represent the different leagues. It would make it easier for everyone all around to find a team and or players in the proper division and league. I cannot see how that is possibly a bad idea and anything but helpful.

#8 Clarification for LFT and LFP forums in Site Discussion

I don't see why we couldn't just have our own UGC section? Divide the forums to facilitate the different leagues that exist (at any given time). Seems like we're alienating that skill range a bit if we just tell them to go elsewhere. You don't have to go to the ESEA forums to make an ESEA team, seems a bit redundant to send them away to UGC to make a UGC team. Teamfortress.tv is the hub of competitive TF2 and if we want it to maintain that image we should centralize things to the website--at least in my mind.

That's what makes the most sense to me though.

#256 Razer Arena - TF2 Frag Fest (EU&NA) in TF2 General Discussion

According to your timezone.

Also these really need to be supported officially by TFTV by being in the events sidebar/announced. It would be a shame if we fail to jump on board something that is without a doubt healthy for the growth of the game and then it's long gone before the majority of us realize that.

I don't think anyone is blaming you guys at all, and nor should they. The situation originally was simply one of poor circumstance.
