against soldiers time their rockets and always chose the unpredictable way. also keep some distance (ofc this depends on the situation, if he has no rockets or you have low hp i dont see why not rush him)
i stop in the mid of my second jumps a lot and it usually works (pretty useful against demos)
against scouts i just spam all the keys, if i dont and i start focusing on my movement i tend to miss more
jump spam will work if your dm is fine and you play against bad ppl but wont help you if you want to play at a higher level

played against a lot of demos who didnt miss a pipe but couldnt hit more than 1 sticky against a scout
just depends on who are you playing against
if hes a dumbass and doesnt want to stop being bad you probably will be spawncamped or some shit like that
anyway if u cant kill a bad demo try playing counter strike
