wait, ESEA hasn't been one map per week for a few seasons now, we were on pick/ban. pick/ban is a far better system IMO because you can actually strategize what maps to play against your rival rather than it being chance (or if ur a giga brain in IM, lose certain matches and get the schedule you want on the maps you want(hopefully)). maybe one map a week is good for lower divs but I know for sure I have maps that are perma bans and spending a week on them isn't fun.

EDIT: daffodil says its still a pick/ban for Invite, but lower divs get the one map week, which makes scheduling scrims easier for them

to clarify I never intended on playing the full season because of work and irl commitments. I expressed my sub position to broking and everyone else and it wasn't until after he couldn't find literally anyone that he wanted me to main. Last night he said they wanted to try ash, I happily obliged, it went well and we mutually parted ways. There is nothing emo about having to quit tf2 for a full time job and a girlfriend lol

2 questions
1. I like that you guys added the new maps, and I heard it was for testing purposes. By that logic why don't you also change the whitelist to test items? I think pugs are a good place/the best (personal opinion) place for it
2. For what reason was perfection unbanned? Personally I don't care whether he is or not, I doubt I would end up playing with him a lot, I'm just curious as to the reason considering he evaded bans numerous times. IMO it's important precedent is set, especially for people that have been client banned on other pug services

regardless i didnt mention it as a specific call out to either of you, just mentioned it as a structure of what i consider a really dumb captain method. people still did it for months after u guys stopped playing until they started enforcing the rule, it makes pugs very unbalanced

pocket or roamer is a role, not a class. regardless, this is an issue because of the john milter theory where u pick ur medic (mr popo) on scout and just switch with him. a specific pug where rocket got picked on scout and sandblast on medic comes to mind, doesn't that seem a little unfair?

picked awful teams, first one wasn't entirely his fault but he def could have just picked better.
second time he first picked skeez when rocket was added so his entire team was imminent death
