#9 windows 10 stuttering in Hardware
ComangliaWindows 10 has automatic drive updates.
Most of the time when you update your drivers the original driver isn't always full uninstalled (if at all) and can cause issues.

Windows 10 also intelligently re-installs uninstalled drivers, via Windows Update. Clicking 'Rollback Drivers' doesn't seem to hold through the next update.

Here's Microsoft's tool on how to hide or disable certain updates from being pushed to your system: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3073930

I guess now would be a good time to say I hope you're backing up everything (off-site!?!)

Foxalso it's already separated

yep. best to keep it as it is, as opposed to removing it.

#15 remove highlander subforum in Site Discussion

hmm. seems best to keep the hl forum separate from general discussion, if only to limit toxic attitudes and personalities from destroying the little content that is here (or what is hoped to come)

#6 remove highlander subforum in Site Discussion
Mr_OwlThere's no limit on subforums. If you don't like it or get use out of it, don't go there. It's that simple.

sure ok. but there's, objectively, very few others using it too. it's a ghost town in there.

In that case, see:

maximwould it be useful to create a subforum for upcoming community casts (any events not on the sidebar) to create a place where people can look to see whats happening on the night?

This would keep the more engaging content in the highlander subforum (a thread about a cast is not interesting) closer to the front page (top half of the index).

#1 remove highlander subforum in Site Discussion

It's not seeing any use apart from the dozens of threads there to promote casts happening every so often.

86 threads out of a combined 2462 threads in HL + general discussion represents 3.5% of threads which are about highlander (half of which are about upcoming casts).

For an alternative, would it be useful to create a subforum for upcoming community casts (any events not on the sidebar) to create a place where people can look to see whats happening on the night?

This would keep the more engaging content in the highlander subforum (a thread about a cast is not interesting) closer to the front page (top half of the index).

dabesgl against banny, if u guys get that far.

regardless of how the 'tournament' is set up. there really should be an opportunity for our team to play against all the big dogs. No point going to LAN and not getting a chance to watch us at least scrim (or MGE) an NA team and EU team(s).

#148 [PSA] SteamPipe, Part 2 in TF2 General Discussion

transition was fine except for my hitsound.
on some servers, it plays my dingalingaling, on others, it plays the default dingalingaling

When its working as I would like it, some of the time my hitsound turns into a 5 second long screech which is unbearable.

oh my god tf2 loads fast now.

#20 Premiership Players Need Blue Names Too :D in Site Discussion
RawrSpoonIt matters because OBVIOUSLY I could have a blue name if I lived in those scenes.

Yeah I don't see why this is such a big issue. If we're that bad, then why don't we see more NA players living in AUS and schooling us all. Because it's a non-issue, that's why. It's not worth the time spent worrying about having a blue name, nor the effort of traveling over here and earning a blue forum handle, where you couldn't in NA.

Plus, like it was said, people will know what region you earned your 'invite status' in, by your flag or other public knowledge.

This is supposed to be a good thing !! I thought this was to be an international hub for tf2 (eventually). Discriminating by 'skill' (still subjective at this point), or by 'region' are both arbitrary choices.
