Dual-booting SSD + HDD

NinjaDCInstall windows on your ssd (drive C)
once installed your hard drive will probably show up as drive E. After installing windows on your sdd delete E:\Windows folder.
All your old applications will still be on your hard drive but you won't have shortcuts set up, download and run the installers and tell them to install them to E:\Program Files\Application Name. If you do this for steam for example your games won't be deleted.
With steam on your E drive you may want to move it to your C drive OR create a SteamLibrary folder on your C drive. With the SteamLibrary created you can copy paste whole games from your hard drive to your sdd e.g. cut E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2 and paste it to C:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common. Once done tell steam to install the game (tf2 in this game) from C:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2 and it will discover your existing game files there and you're good to go.
You can also move your documents folders to your hard drive like so:

you may not need to 240GB may be enough for you.
Those are the general steps for your answers, there are plenty of guides available online if you need detailed instructions.
Also remember to setup your sdd before installing windows by setting AHCI in your UEFI/BIOS if its not already set.

I bought me a 240gb SSD over black Friday, I've migrated all my files to it, but they are still present on my hard drive. Is there anyway I can have exclusively steam running on my SSD, along with my OS, and just using my hard drive for everything else?
I'm also unsure which files should be deleted off of my SSD, more specifically I don't want to accidentally delete my operation system (god forbid, I sound like an idiot)

You infrequently post and when you do, it's some ironic one word post that agrees with someone else or just "same".
