A bit of a necro, but here's the streamer talking about what happened, video came out just today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fM0hkdVqyf8

"I know many had questions about what happened so I told the story and answered some questions while I was streaming. Now we move on ... let's focus on TI4!"

spoken like a true esporter

I'm looking to get into running various source games, primarily hl2. I've been researching it for a few weeks now, and it looks really fun.

"I smoke weed, do coke, and drink a whoooooole lotta beer, but I got nooo clue what blue meth is."

this dude.

Two-in-a-row-bump, sorry! I'd really like to get on a team this season. I'll play in either CEVO or ESEA, preferably whichever has more competition.

Four hours of DM a day would certainly help your aim, but I can imagine you'd burn out of that regimen fairly quickly. If you're really worried about your DMing abilities, just DM/MGE/whatever an hour before your matches/ scrims. You're in iron, where it's expected for people to be learning the ropes of competitive.

But DM isn't really the most important thing. The important thing will come with time and research, and that is gamesense. Especially in lower divs. I played all class backup in steel forever ago, and was absolute garbage at aiming. I still carried my own weight because I only picked fights I knew I could win.

If you're interested in a solution other than using your phone, you can check out this mIRC script: https://code.google.com/p/twitch-irc-chat-overlay-txt-output/

I use it to stream my chat, but it has a great overlay option designed by a streamer without a second monitor that wanted to read his chat.

I have a WD Green drive that I bought accidentally for my primary drive. If you don't mind a 4-8 minute startup time when you've got a few years worth of stuff on the drive, it's fine.

I'd recommend waiting for money for a better drive.

Wish my plans to go went through. Looking forward to all the LAN content this weekend. No matter who wins, I think this is going to be a fantastic lan.

the ONLY freaking thing he read, in between dozens of links to this thread...

This is primarily competitive forum, so this may or may not fall into the "General Discussion" category. Also, it's sort of not-liked when people join a forum just to advertise their youtube video... :/
