Chat Open when Selecting a Stream

Currently, when selecting a stream, the Live Streams list still shows, and you have to select Chat to open the chat.
Is it possible we could have the option in our settings to either have the Chat, Streams, or Both to appear when we select a stream?
I am sure there are plenty of people who prefer it the current way but I miss the old way where I could see the stream list and the chat at the same time right when I got to the page.
Also, I am wondering how other people feel about it... Do you agree, disagree, or miss the old one?
I haven't really talked to anyone else so I don't if other people feel the same way.
PS: I have another unrelated complaint on top of this one that I wont bother making a new thread for. I typed this whole post out once, and then hit the Post New Thread button, but realized I didn't specify a category. So it rightfully gave me an error, however, it cleared my whole post and I wasn't able to retrieve it in any way so I had to type it all up again. I know it is small but it just something that I figured I would mention :p
