Civ beyond earth hasn't really interested me that much. I saw the E3 gameplay, and it looks like a reskin of civ v. Nothing was all that new, it was just reskinned to be in space.
That was a while ago, so maybe that's not the case now.

The best E-Sports doc I've ever seen, it all the production value of a professional doc team.
This community really is amazing! Only thing I didn't like was the weird head room on some of the interviews. Other than that, it was an amazing watch, and always kept me interested. I was a little out of the loop when it came to tf2 last summer, so I didn't know how all of i49 played out, but this presented everything perfectly.
mojoe here, I'm tentatively looking to create a post produced tf2 news show similar to what eXtravision used to be, but I need a caster to do the talking as that's not my strong point.
I'll have more info on content in an official thread if I do end up making this but, right now I'm thinking general tf2 news, comp news from all different scenes, an interview, and maybe some match predictions.
I'm going to do all the editing for the show, I just need someone to do the talking. If you're actually interested in helping with content finding and other stuff, that'd be great.
This is something new for me, but I've been editing for a long time, and I'm currently a film major, so I think this could be a really big success if I find the right person to help me out.
If you're interested, add me here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/mojoe_
If anyone has any suggestions/questions/comments pls post here.
if mods want to move this to the video section, that's fine, but I figured it'd get more exposure here.
Any reason why the Hilton isn't on the official hotel list? It's a little closer, and the prices seem to be about the same.
SAAM_lynaFor the most part not too bad, but damn that text is atrocious.
Aww fuck I thought it looked nice. Any suggestions?
I think the main problem with it is the black outline. Text almost never looks good with an outline like that. The font was nice, but the outline ruined it.
Also, slow motion is cool, but not for long periods of time. For instance in Touch, the slow motion should have stopped right when you fired the first shot on the medic. It would have synced very well with the music, and was what I expected to happen. Instead, you kept it a little too long it and felt off. Video #1 has a similar problem, but there it's just way to much slow motion in the beginning.
I'm going to preface this by saying I'm not the best editor out there, but here is how I think slowmo should be used:

I used it only to accentuate the kills, and only for a brief moment. Same later on here:

It's also really helpful if you can get it to sync up with the music. It's similar to how chord changes need to sync up with the beat in a song. If they do, it feels really good, but if it's off it's almost uncomfortable to hear. To me it's the same kind of thing with syncing in a frag movie. If it's not to the beat, it can feel a little off.
Edit: fixed linking, sorry if anyone saw it when it was all broken.

That's pretty fly.
GeknaiirValve- Fixed a case where move speeds could be exploited using player view anglesCan someone explain this in greater depth?
It could have to do with how if you look a little to the side while moving backwards you can move at full speed, instead of reduced backwards speed.
AbrissForty-TwoI've done it fairly recently, what do you mean by 'broken'? If it's crashes on certain ticks, mat_queue_mode 0 should fix it.. 'broken' is a bit vague to know if that's the issue that needs fixing for you, though.
I thought this was a major issue for everyone, where the _smooth.dem files would not be saved.
If you launch them through console, i.e. "playdemo yourdemohere" they will save the _smooth.
It seems to be making it even more like reddit. That's not a good thing...
Why would you make a guide? Bootcamping to windows isn't exactly something that's hard to do.
Mr_Harvardjoejoe347It started happening to me too recently. Pretty sure it's a bug, but it doesn't exactly cause any problems so I wouldn't worry about it, not like Gmang will ever update the hud so nothing you can do.look up unofficial gmang hud, there is a group thats been updating it
Cool, thanks for that, I didn't know it existed.

Is there a sizing chart so I can see what size I should be ordering? Depending on who makes the shirt I can be different sizes.
