#753 yahud in Customization

We know that, it's just that the old font had some... Magic to it.

I'm just going to say, that I've been using this hud since you posted your version on reddit exactly a year ago or so and loved it ever since. bw version came along made by pwny who tried to keep yahud alive after you haven't been updating it, but since you are back, i gladly switched (sorry pwny!) And even since then it's becoming more widely used. You are doing gods work, keeping that hud up to date.

ThickneyHow do replace old font? :c
Everything else looks good so far!

I think everyone is here for the old font.

Legacy of ya_hud Mk.I must survive!

#5 Made a mumble overlay... in Customization
HardingoIs there any way to change the fonts?

Very easy. Where you upload the overlay, click right mouse button on the text and go to edit options, then once again to select a font.

Fonts differ sometimes, so you might need to adjust the rest. I reccomend using dafont.com if you want anything funky. Narrow fonts also work better, as they fit more text than the wider ones.

#1 Made a mumble overlay... in Customization

A while ago I decided to modify my already existing overlay, add a little more sleek look to it and make it universal and not overly obnoxious. Here are the effects. Would be grateful for any sort of feedback.

And here is the link to it:

whayayjakeowatyLink of the MvM test: http://youtu.be/0ySGuIHaZG4Thanks, this is helpful! I was originally talking about an actual demo file (so that I can edit the HUD with that and check), but this is also really useful. I'll just try and see if I can get something going in the next couple of days. At least MvM isn't completely broken right now :3

Yeah, I realized that you meant a demo not a video after I was done with editing, so I just said 'what the hell, might as well upload what I did.'

Can record and upload a demo as well, it's a few minutes for me if you still want it.

And before the new edits, mfw I was playing MvM with 5MD:

EDIT:
Scratch what I said:
I installed the new version of mx and truth be told, I find the TargetID below the bar as Medic confusing. Having everything close and near crosshair is a much, MUCH better way healing.
Would it be too much work to lower down the main hud so TargetID fits in better?
Apart from that, there isn't anything I could even nitpick on.

whayayThe percentage number doesn't work with shadows unfortunately, which is why mx has the new Charge Meter. You could try using the HudMedicCharge.res file from the fl version, but it won't have any shadows.

Yeah, tested it out and it semi works, because it doesn't flash when your uber is ready to go. I'll stick to the default for now then, it's not awful. :)

Will try to record 1 wave of MvM for you.

Only 4 things for mx:
- could you include a 9v9 or 12v12 scoreboard as a minmode variables or overrides?
- the killstreak number from the previous edition in the lower right corner is missing?
- option to add a bonus cross on the left of health?
- big percentage number on the right of the ubercharge?

Thanks in advance, it already looks amazing.

This is the best edit someone could ever think of of 5MD.

I MvM scoreboard fixed as well?
Does the old ClientScheme work with this? I want to keep my colors.

Any chance on updating 5MD with as few changes? I've been using yahud for a year now and I'm dead used to the old style of it. :P

#79 bwHUD in Customization

I remember you posting here pwny, and you helped me out when messing with yaHud, thanks!

Anyways, I have a question: I'm using the new batching system, and the last damage done underneath the crosshair doesn't count it. Can I change it, so it still counts the damage done in the span of last 2 seconds? The current one is kind of confusing.

Also, the ability to have the targetID below crosshair instead of the Health, that would be just splendid. :) Or at least the ability to switch places.

12v12 scoreboard would be also quite nice

pwny_ you are my last hope.

In previous ya_hud versions there was the ability to have an additional cross right next to the the target you are looking at/heal, remember? In the old available version of ya_hud I can't find it, and I asked whayay to maybe tamper with it, but he can't be bothered. I spent myself a few hours trying to get it to work, but it always was either too big or misplaced.

Having an additional cross to the target would be helpful though, without changing much with the current ya_hud version. Possible?
