#7 multiple crosshairs issue in Customization
wattersoniggyShooshI dont understand what you want help with? Do you just want to see one of the croshairs or have different crosshairs for primary, secondary and melee?_KermitAre you saying you want to have different crosshairs on each weapon? You can't do that with hud crosshairs sadly.
I want to remove the excess crosshairs that are on each weapon, each one has 3 crosshairs that are ALWAYS visible instead of just 1 per weapon and it makes things that are far away harder to see through the crosshair
FryskNavigate to resource/hudlayout.res and disable any unwanted crosshairs.
i'll try that, thanks!

EDIT: can't find any file named hudlayout.res, even with a search. tried checking in /tf/resource and /custom/

the file path would be tf/custom/rayshud/scripts/

found it, thanks much

#1 multiple crosshairs issue in Customization

I've got multiple crosshairs for each weapon on every class (3 or so that are visible all the time), anyone know how to fix this? I used rayshud installer and tf2mate for a cfg so i'm guessing it's got to be something with crosshairs not being overwritten and just added on top of each other instead. kinda hard to see in the image so I included the link, you can see 3 crosshairs

help would be much appreciated, ty in advance

#3 Random Ping Spikes in Q/A Help
gardenI had this for a while. (probably more to do with sharing a 15mb internet with 8 people)

Are you playing with an ethernet cable?
Do you have a torrent client open?
Do you share your connection with anyone?

I'm on wired now and it's fixed, but if I switch back to wireless the problem still persists.

I make sure to stop all torrents and keep the torrent client when I'm playing anything, so it can't be that.

I share it with one person, but he doesn't really use it much and this only started happening the other night. It seems more like the internet just drops for a second rather than it actually just spiking. Not sure what could be causing this, maybe the wireless adapter I'm using?

#1 Random Ping Spikes in Q/A Help

Hey all. I started having random ping spikes that are REALLY bad the other night. It's always been fine up until this point. I tried doing speedtests through speedtest's website and everything seems normal. I'm still getting my usual 40mb/s down and 5 up. Even pingtest says my ping is fine, all youtube videos and pages load fine but as soon as I get into a game, I just get ping spikes every 5 seconds.

Anyone know how to fix this? Only two games I've tested this with are with CS:GO and TF2 so far, so I'm not sure if it's just source game problem I'm having or with everything.

It's nothing to do with my PC, I know that for sure. I'm running a GTX 780 in here and have no problems running any game at all right now. I can tell it's a ping/net issue because I'll be walking or something and then all of a sudden I'll freeze completely and be taken back to where I was 3ish seconds before the spike happened. I even seem to be having similar problems with Skype voice chats but mumble seems to work fine. Really don't have any clue what is causing this. I've tried restarting my modem/router and everything.

#1 Pocket LFT CEVO/ESEA in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hey everyone,

I'm a Pocket (willing to switch off to roam if needed but much prefer pocket) looking for an Open team, preferably mid-high. I tend to play pretty aggressive majority of the time and like to keep things moving fast if the opportunity is there. My schedule is generally pretty open after 5pm (this month though I have class 1pm-9pm so at around 9:15 or so I'm available for scrims/practices or whatever, but that will likely change next month and will probably be available earlier than that). Pretty much open to weekend scrims and practices every day from about 9, though my schedule can (hardly ever does) from month to month because of the University I'm attending.

Being that I am a CG artist I am very open to any constructive criticism and won't really argue back or anything like that if someone has tips/advice for me, so that will never be an issue. I have a fast learning curve and am always willing to improve any part of my game. I tend to call a lot as well. I'd say the strongest part of my game is my DM, but I like to think I have a bit of gamesense to match as well though I'll let you all be the judge of that.

I'm 20 years old and live in Orlando, Florida (EST). I'm able to try out pretty much any time right now since for the next 11 days or so I only have class 5pm-9pm and I'll probably be on TF2 (or at the very least signed into Steam) when I'm not in class. If anyone needs a pocket sub ever, I'd definitely be willing if I'm able to at the time, so even if you just want to add me for that it's cool; even just to mge or lobby together is cool too, I'd love to get to know some new people.
