MasterKuniMuerteSomewhat off-topic, but regarding Seagate...

I've got 2 x 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD's which I use for a combination of games (besides the most played; LoL and TF2), (some) applications and mostly storage. One the said drives I've had for 2 + years without fault and I recently purchased the second. So far, I'm yet to have any issues.

Is there anything in particular that people have problems with when it comes to Seagate drives? Something I should look out for as 'warning signs'? Or is it just a general lack of read/write speed in comparison with WD drives?

Take it as you will. You may or may not be able to extrapolate this across all products, but this is more empirical evidence than anyone else has on the issue.

someone please donate a good HDD to me, my parents got me a seagate for christmas

#66 Competitive shooters? in Other Games
thrasherTF2 and CS will have to carry the torch for now.

The fact (?) that TF2 is currently the 2nd biggest shooter competitively is kinda scary.

#23 Youtube @ 60 FPS in Off Topic
Not_MatlockKhakiI thought there was some kind of trick with youtube where you could record at 60 fps at half speed, then use the youtube video options to play the video back at 2x speed, and it was like a phaux-60fps youtube video
My friends told me about this, and apparently it works pretty well. I think YouTube only does 24fps video instead of 30, so it might only be 48fps, but hey, this next update will make all those annoying steps no longer needed!

It does 30 fps, but can also do 24 fps for videos recorded with film standards, and maybe 25 fps as well for PAL.

For the record, it's not publicly available yet. I don't even think it's been done with videos outside of this playlist yet: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbsGxdAPhjv9UrLo19pS8teoRKj7funAy

I'm guessing they're going to roll it out to partners first, then gradually give it to people with lots of subscribers and long-time users, then going down the list until it just makes sense to give it to everyone.

#7 canadians, benQ 144hz monitor 100$ off in Hardware
drdonutmanThis monitor has backlight strobing built in (Lightboost) unlike the Asus. So you can use it with an AMD card.

There's a program that lets you use it on the ASUS (or any Lightboost monitor) with AMD cards: http://www.blurbusters.com/zero-motion-blur/lightboost/

Looking for a ride from Indianapolis. I'd prefer to leave right after, but I guess I could split a room.
